The color scheme used for printers is radically different. Instead of running on an RGB color format, the digital printers operate using a CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow and Key black) color scheme. This CMYK color scheme is otherwise known as the four color process. Instead of using the three primary colors, the different combinations of cyan, magenta, and yellow combine to produce RGB.
