What is exactly EDDM indicia? Simply, the EDDM indicia is a part of EDDM Retail mailing instructions. How one EDDM indicia looks like? It is a rectangular shaped label with the following text: PRSRT STD, ECRWSS, U.S. POSTAGE, PAID, EDDM RETAIL. You will see that the EDDM retail information is printed on the last line and the information that the postage is paid appears on a separate line and stands by itself. The previous EDDM indicia which is not in use anymore was saying "U.S. POSTAGE PAID" on one line.
